SCB10 epoxy resin cast dry-type transformer is an upgrade product of scb9. SCB10 series products features significant high mechanical strength, high electrical strength, high heat resistance and low loss, low noise, low partial discharge. So SCB10 dry-type transformer is environmental protection products for new generation of urban power grid update, and is the mainstream product in the current transformer market. It is especially suitable for commercial center, airport, high building, chemical plant, nuclear power station, ship and other important places requiring fire prevention, explosion-proof and moisture-proof.
This standard defines environment, climate and fire classes and in consequence thereof takes into account varying operating conditions existing at the point of installation.
The climate class takes the lowest ambient temperature into account.
Class C1: Indoor installation not under -5 °C Verification by texting
Class C2: Outdoor installation down to -25 °C Verification by testing
The climate class is thus also a measure for the fracture toughness of the cast-resin compound.
The environment class takes air humidity, condensation and pollution into account.
Class E0: No condensation, negligible pollution
Class E1: Occasional condensation, pollution to a limited extent only Verification by testing
Class E2: Frequent condensation or pollution or both simultaneously Verification by testing
The fire class takes account of the possible consequences of a fire.
Class F0: No provision is made for limitation of the fire hazard Class
F1: Fire hazard is limited as a result of the transformer characteristics Verification by testing.

Structural Features
1. The iron core is made of high-quality cold-rolled oriented silicon steel sheet, the surface is specially treated with protective resin, and full-inclined seam lamination structure is adopted.
2. The low-voltage coil is of foil winding structure made of high-quality steel foil. The high-voltage coil is of layer structure formed by vacuum epoxy casting technique. Transformers with this type of winding shows low partial discharge compared with similar product ;
3.This model features high mechanical strength, strong short-circuit resistance, good dust-proof and anti-fouling performance. Its service life is longer than another dry transformer.
4. The product’s beautiful stainless-steel shell is durable and can provide better protection for the electrified parts of the transformer. It works well outdoors.
5. With excellent moisture-proof and corrosion-resistant performance, the product is safe, fire-proof and pollution-free. It’s especially suitable for working in extremely harsh environmental conditions, and can restart without dry treatment after shutdown.
